This Web Design competition consists of one practical task which is to design and code a valid and responsive website. For this competition you will be required to demonstrate the ability to create effective and accurate design documentation, using wireframes which reflect the final product.

You will also need to demonstrate the ability to code up valid web pages (according to good coding standards) as well as cascading style sheets to control the appearance of the elements of the web page. Client-side scripting should be used to add animation and interactivity plus provide a complex validation function to validate key input to a detailed constructed contact form.

You must also demonstrate how to ensure a web site can be responsive to ensure it can be seen in both browsers and mobile devices with only one style sheet to control both browser and mobile devices. This can be achieved through the use of supplied libraries, or your own CSS code. At this stage you will not be expected to work with server-side scripting.

A maximum of 3 learners per organisation can be registered. There will be a maximum of 8 in each heat.
